### 10.1 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND PROGRAMS Contractor shall develop a comprehensive project safety program and require each separate Subcontractor to adhere to such program. Contractor shall appoint a safety officer who shall be responsible for administering the comprehensive safety program. This person shall be Contractor’s [[Project Manager]] unless otherwise designated by Contractor in writing to the [[Contracting Officer]]. The person designated shall not be changed unless notice is given to the [[Contracting Officer]]. Contractor shall assume responsibility for full and violation-free compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations pertaining to job and project safety.
